RUINS OF THE CHURCH AND FRIARY OF SAN FRANCISCO (A Coruña, Spain)

This is how the site looked like at the begining and the end of our work. We found much more paved surface than expected and it was hard work, but a very satisfying one.

The paved areas correspond to the cloister’s ambulatory. The rectangular area on the right side, with the semicircular end is the main nave of the church.

After consolidation, the pavement was covered again for protection, until a future, wider intervention takes place (hopefully) to improve the ruins’ social significance and spread the knowledge about their history to the public.

Things my friends do, in my city.

THE DARK SIDE OF SHIRLEY TEMPLE

With everyone flapping their arms and clucking their tongues about Woody Allen and what he may or may not have done to assorted adopted children, it seems a proper time to put things in some sort of historical perspective. Not to draw any kind of conclusions about Allen’s innocence or guilt,…

Falou o mestre Miyazaki, e falou bem.
